Fraze Pavilion has big acts, small atmosphere

After hosting recent concerts by famed acts Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson, The Fraze Pavilion gears up to feature performances by The Doobie Brothers on August 30, the band Chicago on August 26, and Lynyrd Skynyrd on September 6.

The Fraze Pavillon is an open-air amphitheater located in Kettering and has featured sold-out concerts by the likes of Sheryl Crow and Maroon 5.

Having started in the 1970s, The Doobie Brothers hits include, “Listen to the Music,” “Black Water,” “China Grove,” “Jesus is Just Alright,” “Long Train Runnin’,” and “What a Fool Believes.” The Doobie Brothers went on to win two Grammy awards and continue making music to this day.

The American classic Lynryd Skynryd is famed for “Gimmie Three Steps,” “Free Bird” and the iconic “Sweet Home Alabama.”
